How we're responding to COVID-19

Our priority is the care and safety of our patients as well as the staff and volunteers who make that possible.

We are not expecting any volunteers to report for their usual duties with us until further notice.

You will know how much the hospice values and relies on our volunteers to support everything we do, so we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is practicable – and safe for everyone.

We also know how much volunteering and being out and about with other people can benefit your mental health. If you feel your mental health is suffering a bit at the moment because of all that’s happening, this helpful resource from Public Health England might be useful – Every Mind Matters.

We will be using our website, Facebook, Twitter and the media to carry updates on how we are responding to the coronavirus situation, as well as direct contact such as email when appropriate. Please do get in touch with your usual hospice contact if you have any questions; telephone or email is best for now, of course.
