Thank you to everyone who helped us open the doors to the biggest charity shop in Shropshire yesterday! Thanks to you, our new Beacalls Lane superstore in Shrewsbury made a fantastic £4,500 by the end of the day – and every pound will help provide support to families living with incurable illnesses.

But without months of preparation and dedication from volunteers, staff and many from the local community who worked tirelessly throughout, the vision of the Severn Hospice superstore could not have come into fruition.

As winners of Outstanding Charity Retailer of the Year 2018, our portfolio of 25 high street shops, including the Ennerdale Road furniture store in Shrewsbury, contributed more than £1 million towards our services last year. Our superstore is a new and important source of funds.

If you haven’t had a chance to pop along yet, remember that we’d love to see you! In addition to having a wide range of clothes, accessories, shoes, toys, books and furniture, we have a community hub for people to meet and chat.

See all the photos from the day here.

Address: The superstore is housed in the old Dulux Paint Centre, a 10-minute walk from Shrewsbury train station on Beacalls Lane, SY1 2HU.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Car parking: yes.
