store-warsWe are calling on businesses across Shropshire to sign up to compete in our Store Wars and help to raise funds to care for families throughout the region living with incurable illnesses. The competition is set to return this November 19th.

Each business that gets involved will be allocated a Severn Hospice shop to take over for the day and will be challenged to see which shop generates the most sales to raise as much money as possible for our hospice. The businesses will also compete in the two weeks before the takeover to gather the most donations from within their company to sell in their Severn Hospice shop.

Local businesses already signed up to compete in our Store Wars include Interserve Healthcare, the Co-Operative, Tesco and Swinton Insurance.

Pam Buso, of Tesco in Telford, said: “We think this is a fantastic opportunity to do some team building whilst helping a vital local charity. Severn Hospice provides incredible care for those who need it and we want to give back to the community by supporting its wonderful work.”

Hannah Millward, Payroll Manager at Interserve Healthcare, said: “We’re really looking forward to putting our sales team to the test to raise money for this incredible local cause. We’ve already gathered some brilliant donations and have some great ideas to raise lots of money for the hospice, who do such a fantastic job.”

The winning team will take home the coveted Severn Hospice Store Wars trophy. We need as many local businesses as possible to get on board and take on our charitable challenge and we will be accepting applications until 30th September 2016.
