We’re hoping for a fairy tale ending for our Cinderella Midnight Walk Walk in Shrewsbury.

Hundreds of ladies are set to become princesses for the evening for the second of our Cinderella themed ladies-only walk taking place at Shrewsbury Sports Village on September 8.

Hannah Gamston, fundraising officer for events at Severn Hospice, said: “Our Midnight Walks have been a key part of our events calendar for over a decade now raising much needed funds for us.

“Keeping with the Cinderella theme the walk will start at 10pm and we are encouraging all those taking part to be back by midnight to avoid turning into a pumpkin!

“For those planning on staying up late for our Midnight Walk you might want to make the most of our special offer. If you register a team of four or more ladies before August 31 each walker will receive a free t-shirt and tutu to wear on the night.

“We are thrilled that some of our wonderful outreach nurses will be joining us for the walk, they work tirelessly out in the community and see first-hand the difference the money raised from events like this make.”

Eirian Thomas, Severn Hospice outreach nurse, said “A team of us will be swapping our nurses uniforms for tutus and tiaras for the Shrewsbury Cinderella Midnight Walk. We’re all really looking forward to the walk and meeting some of our wonderful supporters whose unwavering support means we can care for those who need our help.”
