Our memorial event for people to celebrate the lives of loved ones is set to return for the fifth year at Newtown’s All Saints Church.

The annual service on Thursday 28 March is open to all and gives families the opportunity to take time out to remember loved ones.

All Saints Church Rev Canon, Nia Morris, and Severn Hospice Chaplain, Rev Harry Edwards, will lead the service with readings, poems and the lighting of candles.

Chaplain Rev Harry Edwards said: “Everyone is welcome to come along, make a dedication and light a candle in memory of those they miss. In our busy lives it can be hard to find the opportunity to reflect and celebrate the lives of loved ones. Our service offers comfort, as well as space and sanctuary for people to think of times shared and cherished memories.”

The service will be held at All Saints Church, Commercial Street, Newtown at 2pm – 4pm on Thursday 28th March. Refreshments and time of fellowship will follow the service.
