Despite terrible weather a popular tractor pull has raised an impressive £12,000 for charity.

Gary Penton, director at Penton’s Haulage and Cold Storage, has organised the Ruyton XI Towns tractor pull for the last six years raising thousands of pounds for various local causes along the way including our hospice.

The money raised from the event will be split equally between our hospice and Hope House.

A big thank you to all those who braved the bad weather helping to raise such a fantastic amount. Special thanks to Gary, Penton’s Haulage and Cold Storage, Morris Lubricants and North Shropshire Scaffolding.

This years event is set to take place at Marches Farm in Ruyton XI Towns on 22 and 23 September.
