London to Paris crunchA group of amateur cyclists are setting out on an epic journey in order to raise vital funds our hospice.

The cyclists will be pedalling from London to Paris from 19th April to 23rd April  in order to support our care for the thousands of families across Shropshire and Mid Wales living with life limiting illnesses.

Participants will finish their epic ride at the famous Eiffel Tower in the centre of Paris. All ten participants have been training hard and are looking forward to the big event.

Our Community Fundraising Advisor, Mike Perry, said: “All of our participants in the London to Paris cycle challenge have shown incredible commitment, both in their training and in fundraising for our hospice. We are really grateful to all of them and are confident they’ll have a fantastic time on their journey across the channel and through the picturesque French countryside.

“There are still lots of adventure fundraising opportunities at our hospice so if anyone would like to take on a cycle challenge or something similar we hope they’ll visit our website or contact us to find out what’s on offer.”
