FMN 2We have had a fantastic response to our Forget Me Not Appeal and would like to thank everyone for their support. Due to high demand we have commissioned more flowers to be made; these will be ready for collection or delivery in July.

You can order your forget me not, priced £25 each, via our online shop. Flowers can be collected from either our hospice in Shrewsbury or Telford, alternatively they can be sent directly to you for an additional cost of £5.95 per flower.

Due to the incredible popularity of the forget me nots, please be patient with us, as it may take a bit longer than usual to process orders. We really are delighted that they are proving so popular and we are working through the orders as quickly as we possibly can.

Since unveiling our striking display of 750 steel forget me nots at Shrewsbury Castle, we have been inundated with orders for the handcrafted flowers.

The display was officially opened by guest of honour Sir Algernon Heber-Percy, HM Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire and President of our hospice, on Tuesday 12th April. He was joined by Tallulah Lewis-Schulz, her sister Poppy and mum Sarah who planted the last forget me nots in memory of their dad and husband Andreas Schulz who sadly passed away at our Shrewsbury hospice in May last year. Tallulah touched the hearts of millions of people last year when she shaved her hair off in memory of her dad, raising in excess of £10,000 for our hospice.

The handcrafted forget me nots, measuring 17cm in diameter and 43cm in length, have been made by the Oswestry-based British Ironworks.

The forget me nots will be on display at Attingham Park from Tuesday 26th April to Tuesday 3rd May. The display is free of charge but regular entry fees to the National Trust property apply.
