Visitors Information Welcome to the Severn Hospice visitors page. Here you will find some useful information for your visit. Whether you are a relative or friend of a patient, have a meeting booked with a member of staff or attending a lecture in our Education Department you will hopefully find everything you need here. Bus Routes
If you'd like a timetable, you can download the route 22 times here, or a map of the bus route here (both in pdf format). We cannot guarantee these are up to date, so we recommend you contact Arriva on 0870 608 2 608. or visit their website . Telford: Buses 341 and 342 from Wellington bus station pass nearby, but will only stop on Whitchurch Drive by request. Buses 25 and 44 go to the nearby Princess Royal Hospital much more frequently but it is a fairly long walk from there. Further information will follow when we have it. Meals Meals for relatives who are staying overnight are available upon request. There is a menu on both wards and in the Reception area along with a price list. Meals must be paid for at the time of ordering. Hot evening meals are only available for relatives staying overnight, for others there are a variety of sandwiches and salads available. Prices range from £1.50 for a sandwich to £1.90 for a small or £3.00 for a large cooked meal; salads vary in size and content. For more information ask a member of staff upon arrival. Car Parking Shrewsbury: Car parking at the Hospice is very limited; we therefore request that wherever possible you arrange to car share with other family members. The car park at the front of the Hospice is for Doctors, Patients and relatives use only. For people attending a lecture or a meeting we request that you use the rear car park or if necessary the overspill car park off the road to the rear of the building (all car parks are clearly sign posted).
