Statistics for 2006-7

A total of 1,157 new patients were referred to the Severn Hospice during 2006 to 2007 -  a record number and a statistic which validates the wisdom of building a new hospice in telford to cater for the growing numbers of people needing this specialist care.
As can be seen from the table below, new patients were introduced to Severn Hospice from all the many communities in Shropshire and Mid Wales and five from outside our area, each receiving care tailored to their individual needs.
