Shrewsbury Hospice Tel: 01743 236565 Our main site at Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, stands at the end of a narrow lane behind Oxon Business Park . Although close to Shrewsbury, its position in the middle of farmland makes for a very quiet and peaceful outlook. It comprises one 9 bedded and one 12 bedded wards, a day hospice, plus all the associated departments -admin, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social workers, education, catering, stewards, IT, palliative care, appeals, shops, lottery, outreach team, medical staff, transport and volunteers. The above photo gives some idea, but since this was taken, small extensions to the front and rear have been added, and ornamental gardens to the right have grown considerably.
