A radio programme called Bridging the Morphine Gap was broadcast on Radio 4 on 3rd March. It featured Dr Jeremy Johnson being interviewed about his work here and with our twin hospice in Bangalore. You can read about it here

Bob Becker, Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care for Staffordshire University and Severn Hospice, Shropshire has been awarded the prestigious  ‘Educationalist of the Year Award’ at the International Journal of Palliative Nursing annual awards ceremony at the Café Royal in London on March 7th 2008. The judges commented that Bob was a true internationalist in his work and his academic and humanitarian contribution to palliative care education over the last 13 years in a number of European countries and China had been outstanding. Furthermore, his innovative, internet based course in palliative care has been studied by over 6000 people in 76 countries and has made a real difference to patient care worldwide.
