This course is designed specifically for unqualified staff, such as Health Care Assistants, and Nursing Auxiliaries who work in nursing and residential homes, hospitals and social service run establishments. The course facilitator is Robert Becker – Macmillan Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care. The course is specifically geared to the practical needs of unqualified staff and will be presented in a non-academic style. It will closely examine the complete, holistic care of the dying and those bereaved in whatever setting the care takes place.
